Mark Miller Memorial Scholarship
The Mark Miller Memorial Scholarship was established in 2009 to provide financial assistance to outstanding students and to honor and
preserve the memory of Mark Miller who served as President of the M. C. Miller Company from 1986 until his untimely passing in June of 2009.
Mark made numerous contributions to the field of corrosion control technology during his lifetime and he was a strong supporter of materials
science and engineering programs at the undergraduate level, particularly those having a corrosion engineering component.
The Mark Miller Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually by the NACE Foundation to an outstanding undergraduate student currently pursuing studies and extra-curricular activities within the corrosion engineering discipline. The Scholarship funds are administered directly by the recipient’s college or university and the award monies can only be used in support of the recipient’s education expenses.
If you would like to support the annual Scholarship in Mark’s name, your donations would be most welcome. Applications for the 2012 Scholarship will begin September 2011.
