Advantages:
- Can be used as a standard pulse generator or as a current interrupter with a user
selectable interrupt cycle.
- May be permanently or temporarily installed in the rectifier cabinet.
- Does not require synchronization.
- Does not drift./li>
- Produces precisely timed, zero-current pulses.
General Information:
The WaveForm Analyzer/Pulse Generator system utilizes state of the art computer
technology to provide the corrosion engineer with an economical and
easy to use instrument for removing the soil IR drop from
pipe-to-soil potential measurements. The pulse generator is
installed either permanently or temporarily in each rectifier
affecting the area being tested. It produces precisely timed, zero
current pulses that are read by the WaveForm Analyzer. The WaveForm
Analyzer then automatically compensates for the soil IR drop. The
Pulse Generator can be used as a pulse generator or as standard
current interrupter with a user selectable interrupt cycle. It does
not require synchronization and does not drift. The
system works on all structures using impressed current cathodic
protection systems.
Specifications:
- Rating: Standard models available in 60 amp and 100 amp capacity.
Maximum open circuit voltage is 100 VDC for either model.
- Power: 115V or 230V +10% 60 Hz AC
- Mounting: Can be mounted inside most standard rectifier cabinets. A
mounting kit is available.
- Installation: Can be installed on either the negative
or positive side of the rectifier DC output. The pulse generator
should be installed inside the rectifier's DC lightning
protection.
